🌱 Cyber Safety Discussed In Port Jeff Civic Assoc. Meeting + Events

Here are the top four stories today in Port Jefferson:

1. The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Civic Association had its meeting at Comsewogue Public Library on Dec. 13. One of the topics discussed during the event was the importance of being aware of scammers that use the internet and phone calls to target victims. President of PJSTCA, Sal Pitti, stated that if you don't know who you are speaking to, do not send money or personal information. (TBR News Media)
2. Just a friendly reminder that the Port Jefferson Festival of trees will be displayed in the Village Center through Jan. 2. Visitors can stop by during the center's regular hours to appreciate the fabulous decorations. If may also know that admissions are free. (Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce)
3. Holiday outings are sizzling on Long Island. One is the Smith Haven Mall and its Christmas Village Experience. Various dates and times are available to host people of all ages at 313 Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove. Click on the link to check the schedule of events. (Long Island News 12)
4. Port Jefferson Free Library is putting a Parent Toddler Workshop together on Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. Participants will play with their children and have a chance to meet other parents in the community. (Port Jefferson Free Library)
