Duck Donuts To Open Location In Selden

Duck Donuts, a community staple in Hauppauge offering a variety of speciality doughnuts, is opening a second location in Selden this fall.

The shop is still waiting for town approval, but it plans to open in the former 1,650-square-foot Hallmark store in College Plaza on Middle Country Road.

Duck Donuts, a chain with 79 locations in the United States, first opened in North Carolina in 2007. Anthony and Veronica Bencivenga opened their first franchise in May 2018.

Featured doughnuts at Duck's include the maple icing with chopped bacon, lemon icing with shredded coconut, vanilla icing with Oreo crumbles, strawberry icing with rainbow sprinkles and hot fudge drizzle and more.
