SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Republican State Assemblyman Ed Flood is seeking re-election to New York State Assembly District 4. He is being opposed by Democratic challenger Rebecca Kassay.

Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Flood defeated Steve Englebright for the assembly seat in 2022; Englebright had held the office since 1992.

New York State Assembly District 4 includes Port Jefferson, Port Jefferson Station, Stony Brook, Setauket, Terryville, Belle Terre, Strongs Neck, Poquott, and parts of Coram, Selden, and Gordon Heights.
