The line is not currently electrified beyond Huntington, but leaders are calling on New York State and the MTA to fund the upgrade. - The Port Jefferson Fire Department rescued six ducklings trapped in a storm drain on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred on Seacourt Lane, where a nearby resident heard one of the ducks quacking and placed an animal distress call.
