Fire Department Stops By Prom Of Fallen Ex-Chief's Daughter
"We Never Forget Our Own." A touching scene at a senior prom on Long Island tonight.

SMITHTOWN, NY – Members of the Terryville Fire Department made a surprise visit to the Comsewogue High School Senior Prom Tuesday tonight at Watermill Caterers in Smithtown.
On March 29, John Pouletsos, an ex-chief and 50-year member of the department, died of an apparent heart attack. He left behind his wife, Cheryl, and his daughter, Cara, who is a member of the Comsewogue Class of 2018.
"The department wanted to let Cara Pouletsos know that her dad was with her is spirit tonight," the Terryville Fire Department wrote on its Facebook page. "Cara, enjoy your special night. Your dad is watching over all of us from the floor above."
