  1. Have you checked the Mostly True Things show in Port Jefferson? The storytelling is hosted at The Performing Arts Studio on E. Main Street.   2. Local historian Mark Sternberg has been recognized as the Person of the Year by the TBR News Media for discovering Port Jefferson's history.   • A new bill may be passed due to George Santo's case to help prevent future office-seekers from lying. The bill proposes that candidates present their educational history and background under oath. Punishment would be given to the ones who fabricate information to be elected. (Patch)
  • Port Jefferson is hosting its first Family Clay Play of 2023 on Jan. 2! Drop in between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No registration is required. (Port Jefferson Free Library)
