Last Chance: Hear a Homegrown Acoustical Concert While Helping People in Need

Head out on Saturday to see three local musicians perform at in Port Jefferson Station for , a monthly concert series featuring Long Island and regional singer-songwriters and bands. Door open at 8 p.m.

Proceeds from the $5 donation at the door go to the St. Gerard Majella parish outreach program, which feeds and clothes hundreds of Long Islanders. The musicians are not paid for their performances.

According to its website, in its first year the concert series raised over $3,000 for the outreach program. The is now in its third year.

This month, Katie Pearlman, John Filippelli and Andrew Gabriel will all perform. Sponsors for this concert include, and .
