Maryhaven Performing Arts Offers Beauty and the Beast

Maryhaven Performing Arts Day Habilitation, located in Port Jefferson Station, is currently offering a performance of Beauty and the Best.

The performing arts program offers people living with developmental and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to express themselves and have fun through the performing arts. Approximately 50 Maryhaven program participants worked for weeks to design the set, learn music and dances, create costumes, and of course, act in the show!

“Our program truly defines what it means to make dreams come true,” said Charles Vanek, Executive Director, Maryhaven. “To see the joy and pride on the faces of our performers who worked so hard to create and act in this play, is an inspiration.”

Beauty and the Beast performs every week day at 10:45am. Tickets are $5 and can be reserved by calling 631-474-1585.
