- There will be a Bridal Show at Port Jefferson Meadow Club on Feb. 19. For those planning their big day or want to enjoy good food and a dance floor hosted during the event, visit the link I've shared to purchase tickets today! - The NY mask mandate will be lifted in healthcare facilities on Monday. Staff, patients and visitors will no longer be required to wear face covering. Medical centers can follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and create rules. (LI News12)
- Port Jefferson Free Library hosts the "Winter Tales: Coats and Mittens" on Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. This event is for children aged 3-5. Participants will hear winter stories and enjoy crafts!
(PJF Library) - A special speaker participated in the physical education class at the Port Jefferson Middle School and Earl L. Vandermeulen High School. Billy Alvino is a baseball player from Detroit who shared concussion awareness with the students. The meeting was held on Feb. 7-8, where Alvino spoke about his early retirement experiences due to concussion complications. (Port Jefferson Patch)

- Four new restaurants are set to open in Smith Haven Mall, but you might like to know that a Stony Brook Medicine Outpatient Facility and a Live Well store are also opening sometime this year.
