Mount Sinai Massage Parlor Raided, Woman Arrested: Police

The woman was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, police say. The building was condemned as unsafe, officials say.

MOUNT SINAI, NY — A woman was arrested Tuesday night during a massage parlor raid in Mount Sinai, Suffolk police said.

Suffolk police and Town of Brookhaven officials investigated Sakura Foot Spa, at 47 Route 25A, around 7 p.m., following community complaints, police said.

Rongzhen Wang, 43, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, police said.

Wang was released on a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

The Town of Brookhaven issued multiple violations and condemned the building as unsafe, police said.
