Once Upon A Christmas In Port Jefferson Closing

Once Upon A Christmas, a year-round holiday shop in Port Jefferson, announced on Sunday it will be closing its doors after 25 years.

Known for its unique Christmas ornaments, nutcrackers, lights and $5 t-shirts, the store announced its closure on Facebook.

Community members expressed their disappointment, calling the store an "institution in Port Jefferson."

"Can’t imagine it not being there or visiting Port Jeff," Joanne Lonetto said.
