Park City May be Back in Water by End of May

Port Jeff-Bridgeport ferry boat undergoing renovations, including upgrades to make boat ADA-compliant.

According to a report on the Connecticut Post, the Park City ferry is undergoing a $2 million renovation, and owners are hoping the boat will be back in the water by Memorial Day.

The report states that a major upgrade to the boat includes a new elevator to make the ferry compliant under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, new bathrooms, passenger seating, and "Long Island Sound's largest floating sports bar" will be plugged in.

The Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Steamboat Company is running a two-boat schedule while the Park City is undergoing renovations, which are reportedly being done in New London at .
