What: The real Bounty is one of the most famous ships in the world. The mutiny that took place in Tahiti in 1789 on board the British transport vessel has been retold in countless books and movies. The replica of the ship is a famous star all its own. It was originally built for the 1962 movie “Mutiny on the Bounty” with Marlon Brando. Since then, the HMS Bounty has appeared in many feature films and documentaries including a turn as the Edinburgh Trader in Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest with Johnny Depp.

"During her stay she will be open for dockside tours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 29 – July 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.," said Russell.

Price: Tour prices will be $10 per adult, and $5 per child.

Where/When: Heritage Park, 633 Mount Sinai Coram Rd, Mount Sinai, June 29 at 8:15 p.m.

What: Happy Feet 2 will be shown on the baseball field at Heritage Park. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Donations are always welcomed and the concession stand will be open for food and beverage purchases.

Where/When: Mount Sinai Church, June 30 at 9 a.m.

 What: Mount Sinai Church opens the doors of their red barn to everyone. New items donated every week and all the proceeds from the sale go to support the church and its missions.

Where/When: , June 30 and July 1 from 1 to 5 p.m.

What: Every week the children's museum features a different hands-on investigation for little thinkers. This week you can build an air powered rocket and race it with a friend.

Price: $5

Where/When: , June 30 from 3 to 6 p.m./July 1 from 1 to 4 p.m.

What: Featured wines in the tasting will be Inama Vin Soave Classico 2011 as well as Prelius Cabernet Sauvignon 2009. The soave features floral aromas of stone fruits and fresh herbs on the nose. With nice balance and energy, the flavors of lemon icing, green apple, pear, and herbs show through. The Prelius has a vivid ruby color with a dark purple tinge. The nose is rich, displaying aromas of blackberry and blueberry with hints of oak and cinnamon. This is a smooth wine with good structure and a long finish tasting of red fruit.

What: Join the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce for a Wine and Beer Social ont he top deck of the historic HMS Bounty including unlimited cold and hot  hors d’oevres and music. For more information call the PJ Chamber (631) 473-1414

What: See . Volunteers welcome to sign up to learn the craft of wooden boat building.

What: The market has a full house of vendors this week according to manager Donna McKewon. This week, vendors will show their American Pride and decorate their tents for the Fourth of July.

Price: Free

Where/When: Sunday, July 1 at 7 p.m.

What: Tickets are available for a special fundraiser for the . Evening will include live music by Jack Licitra, food, cocktails, beer and wine. It will conclude with a short walk to the museum giving attendees a sneak peek at the space. Sponsored by , Long Island Vodka, and the Wine Guy.
