1. A Port Jefferson resident called the Environmental officials to report a bird that fell off a tree after he heard a gunshot on Aug. 3. Pedro Joaquin, 83, is now facing criminal charges for killing an osprey. (Port Jefferson Patch)
2. A Mustang Show is happening in the Village of Port Jefferson on Sept. 25. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jeanne Garant Harborfront Park. (Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce)
