1. For those trying to plan a "Jaw-some" week for the kiddos, the Port Jeff's Long Island Explorium will host a shark week camp from Aug. 1-5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Register here. (Port Jefferson Patch)
2. A tribute to Selena and Gloria Estefan will be hosted at Port Jefferson Theatre Three on July 30. The concert starts at 8 p.m. at 412 Main St. (Patch)
3. Wai Law ran a 320-plus-mile around Long Island to raise funds for Parkinson's disease research. Law started his run on July 22 at Stony Brook University and will run to Queens before returning to the university. He aims to raise $32,000 and donate it to two programs at Stony Brook University.
