Port Jefferson Gives Recognition to Student Musicians
Vocal ensemble, chamber orchestra feted at school board meeting Dec. 8.
Student musicians from Earl L. Vandermeulen High School were honored by the Port Jefferson School District Board of Education for their dedication to the arts at the board’s Dec. 8 meeting.
The honorees performed several selections for those in attendance at the meeting before getting their recognition certificates. The students were members of the high school’s vocal ensemble and chamber orchestra.
