- Port Jefferson Mayor Margot Garant announced her intentions to retire this summer. The news was announced during a public meeting on Feb. 6. She shared her plans to retire in June after serving the village for fourteen years. (TBR News Media)
- Police are looking for a woman who stole groceries from the Stop & Shop at Pond Path in Setauket. She allegedly left the store with $116 in merchandise that wasn’t paid for in January.
