1. Patch wants to recognize Port Jefferson's local hero, Jeff Brett, indicated by our reader, Rachel Martino. Jeff has generously donated roofs to local institutions like Hope House Ministries, Habitat for Humanity of Long Island, and soccer teams who needed a place to store their equipment.
