At the high school girls winter track crossover meet on Dec. 17 at Suffolk County Community College, the Port Jefferson School District High School record of the 4x400 relay was broken.

Sophomore Gwen Connelly, freshman Alexa Jacobs, and seniors Jenna Jacobs and Maggie Johnston ran a time of 4:23.26, breaking the 26-year-old record of 4.24.2.
