Port Jefferson Snowmobiler Sweeps New York National, Stays in Top Spot
Jake Scott maintained 1st place in the Pro Lite points race with wins in New York over the weekend.

Jake Scott, the 18-year-old pro snowmobiler from Port Jefferson, maintained his lead in the overall points chase in the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series Pro Lite division by sweeping the New York National over the weekend.
Scott battled through tough conditions at the Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel in Salamanca, N.Y to pace the pack. In the 2nd lap of the 16-lap final Friday, Scott sped into first place where he stayed and pulled away from the pack, with an impressive 6.5 second lead over the rest.
On Saturday, Scott was able to make it into the Pro Lite #2 Final and took home another first place win. Scott races in the Pro Lite Division for Team Lavallee. Next up for him is the Fargo National in Fargo, ND on March 8-9.
