1. Port Jefferson School District students brought their talents to the Charles Dickens Festival on Dec. 2-4. Students performed Christmas classics and had a good time interacting with the village's residents. (Press Release Desk)
2. Suffolk animal shelter, Paws Unite, needs donations to remain open. After many years of rescuing animals, the nonprofit is facing the danger of closure due to a lack of funding. 3. A man who is a registered sex offender is facing charges of sexually assaulting a child while he is on parole. The 37-year-old man was also involved in a violent robbery. (Daily Voice)
