  1. A Port Jefferson woman was arrested for driving the wrong way on Nesconset Highway on Saturday morning. Officials received a 911 call around 3 a.m. reporting that a 2020 Honda Civic was traveling the wrong way on the road. Police said the driver was intoxicated and made the arrest. (Smithtown Matters)
  2. Life is merrier with good friends, food, and good times! Long Island Newsday lists the best restaurants in Port Jefferson, chosen by "Critics' picks." The Slurp Ramen, The Pie, Roger’s Frigate, The Steam Room, PJ Lobster House, and others are among the picks. (Newsday)

  4. A teen driver is facing assault charges for hitting two pedestrians intentionally. According to the police, the teens quarreled before the incident. The teens were taken to a local hospital to treat minor injuries. Officials said the driver would need to respond in court on an unknown date. (News12)
