Prohibition Kitchen Offering 'Illegally Good' Food In Port Jeff
The new Port Jefferson restaurant is serving up a delicious mix of food and drinks.

You won't get arrested for going to Prohibition Kitchen in Port Jefferson. But they say they're serving up "illegally good" food.
The new Port Jefferson restaurant, which was opened by Lisa Harris who owns the doughnut shop East Main & Main, has been serving the community "Contraband Cocktails" and interesting dishes.
Open seven days a week, patrons can try need, innovative meals like PBJ Wings—a roasted organic chicken wing with crished peanut satay and Thai Chili Jelly—or a Knuckle Sandwich, which is a local lobster salad with lemon aioli and celery.

Other menu items include The G Man, a cinnamon chipotle pork butt with inion tanglers, creama and Prohibition slaw; Hotsie Totsie, a Ritz cracked crusted coleman organic antibiotic free chicken, I Put That S*it on Everything Sauce, and Fromage Blue Cheese Dressing; and the 8 Slice Death Punch, which is a "big boy cut sourdough, gruyere, American cheese, Burrata, tomato and bacon.
Prohibition Kitchen has a long list of cocktails, including a Smokey Williamsburg, which is made with Pelaton de Murete Mezcal, lime, ginger simple syrup and Greenport Juicy IPA; a Second Breakfast, with Rough Rider Bourbon, lemon, crown smoked maple syrup, ginger beer and fresh blueberry; and a New Old Fashioned, which contains Hillrock Rye, simple syrup, ango, and raft orange bitters.
