- The first session of the Port Jefferson WinterTide Concert Series is set for Feb. 3 in the Sail Loft Room in the Village Center, with singer Robert Bruey hitting the stage from 7-8 p.m. A donation of $5 per person will be appreciated. (Patch Events)

- Two separate fires were reported Saturday in Setauket and Stony Brook. The first incident occurred on Fieldhouse Avenue in Setauket around 9:25 p.m. no injuries were reported. The second blaze was at Strathmore Gate in Stony Brook at 11 p.m. One person was injured. (Patch)
- Winter LI Restaurant Week started on Sunday and ends on Feb. 5. Restaurants in Port Jefferson will be offering lunch and dinner deals for prix-fixe prices. The village's participating restaurants are Pasta Pasta, Nantuckets and Ruvo’s. (Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce)
