Simone Torres Says She's Got the X-Factor
19-year-old from Port Jeff Station wowed the crowds and judges last week and in a YouTube video recalls her big moment.
Port Jeff Station’s Simone Torres said she believes that she’s got the X-Factor and after singing a smoking rendition of Mustang Sally last week, she just may be right.
Even though Torres said she couldn’t remember most of what happened on stage that night, she does remember a wink from a certain surly judge.
“Simon winked at me and I was done..." said the 19-year-old contestant on an X-Factor Q&A YouTube video, referring to judge Simon Cowell.
Torres appears in the video with her family where her sister dishes about growing up with Simone, sharing a cute childhood story about dressing up and creating plays.
And how did she celebrate that first cut?
"Eat a lot of food," said Torres, laughing in the video. "I need chocolate."
