CORAM, NY — A small brush fire broke out behind the St. Francis Cabrini Senior Housing Complex in Coram Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
It started off Middle Country Road just before 3 p.m., drawing area firefighters.
No one was injured.

A brush fire broke out in the woods between Sipp Avenue and Oak Street in Medford at around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday.
Then at around 12:38 p.m., another one broke out in a wooded area next to the eastbound Sunrise Highway service ramp near Station Road in North Bellport.
At around 2:27 a.m. on Sunday, another brush fire broke out in a wooded area near Horseblock Road and Long Island Avenue in Medford.
Suffolk fire officials are warning residents to limit the use of barbecues and fire pits due to the region's ongoing dry climate.
