  3. Many Long Islanders touched by Thomas Valva's story visited his grave during the holidays. Thomas was eight years old when he passed away. His father, ex-NYPD Officer Michael Valva was convicted of his death. (Patch)
  4. The Healing Center Salt Cave has expanded in Port Jefferson! A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in November to celebrate the expansion at 320 Main Street in Port Jefferson.
