Bright Snowflakes Put Port Washington In The Holiday Spirit

Brightly lit LED snowflakes mounted in Port Washington mean only one thing: the holiday season is officially here.

"You know the holiday season has arrived in Port Washington when the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District's festive snowflakes appear along the streets," North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a press release. "These lovely decorations always add such a warm and cheerful feeling for all to enjoy."

The Greater Port Washington BID and Home Run Electric recently installed these snowflake decorations for the holiday season.

For many years, the BID's Board of Directors have worked with the Town of North Hempstead's Highway Department on installing these lights to improve the quality of life and overall image for Port Washington's residents.
