Cancellations Begin in Port Ahead of Storm

With a winter storm bearing down on Long Island, cancellations have begun in Port Washington:

At the Port Washington Library:

• The Janoirary Film Festival set for Jan. 2 at 7:30 p.m. has been cancelled
• Friday's "In the Eye of the Camera with Raymond DeFelitta" presentation scheduled for 12:10 p.m. has been cancelled.
• The Scared sites lecture set for 3 p.m Friday has been cancelled.

• All after-school activities have been cancelled for 1/2 and school will be closed on Friday, Jan. 3, due to the impending storm, according to the school's Facebook page.
