Clothing Drive for Coach Mac Underway
Pants, shirts and shoes are all appreciated, organizers say.
Port Washington is continuing to rally behind Bruce MacDonald, or “Coach Mac” – the beloved track coach and three-time Olympian who was rescued by firefighters in a house blaze earlier this week.
A clothing drive is underway for Coach Mac. Organizers say the following items are needed
- Pants: 34-35 (waist) 32 (length) or medium
- Undershirts, shirts, sweaters, size medium
- Shoes: 13 wide
Clothing can be sent or dropped at the main office at Paul D. Schreiber High School, c/o Nicole Dumpson/Athletics, 101 Campus Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050.
In addition, a GoFundMe campaign is enabling the thousands of athletes, students and friends inspired by Coach Mac to give back now that fire damage left his home uninhabitable.
