Flower Hill Mayor Not Seeking Re-Election: Report
He will instead make run for the board of trustees, according to the report.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Bob McNamara, the mayor of the Village of Flower Hill, will not seek re-election in 2020 and instead run for the board of trustees, according to a report.
"I'm going to drop down and be a trustee," McNamara said, according to the Port Washington News. "The first thing I did was make Brian deputy mayor and we really mirrored each other in many situations and I could be gone and he could take over and vice versa, there would be no problem. I felt as if this was the time to turn it over to Brian and give him the reigns and run it with."
Meanwhile, Brian Herrington, the deputy mayor, will run for mayor and trustees Randall Rosenbaum and Gary Lewandowski will seek reelection as trustees. Village Justice Dennis Reisman will also seek reelection, according to the report.
