(ICYMI) 2 LI Men Arrested For Flower Hill Bank Robbery: PD

Authorities have arrested two men they say robbed a Citibank on Northern Boulevard last weekend.

FLOWER HILL, NY — Two men have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that happened last weekend in Flower Hill.

Nassau County police on Thursday identified the suspects as Demetri Miller, 58, of Uniondale, and Curtis Williams, 35, of Freeport. Miller and Williams were charged with robbery and are scheduled to appear in Hempstead's First District Court on Friday.

Authorities said that on Saturday afternoon the robbers entered the Citibank at 1075 Northern Blvd., handed the teller a note announcing the robbery, and brandished a handgun. The teller reportedly complied and the suspects fled on foot through the bank parking lot with cash.

Initially, police said they were searching for one suspect, but two were later arrested. A department spokesperson could not release any more details about Miller and Williams, or the police investigation, when approached by Patch.
