Metered Parking Suspended In Port Washington For Holidays
Check for bags covering parking meters along Main Street, Port Washington Boulevard and some commercial side streets.
The Town of North Hempstead is suspending all metered parking along Main Street, Port Washington Boulevard and some commercial side streets to encourage local shopping during the holiday season.
Bags will cover the meters from Monday, Dec. 3 to Wednesday, Dec. 26 so residents can go holiday shopping without a fine.
