Several incidents happened nearby, cops said.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.
- May 7: Cedar Street, South Hempstead; cellphone charger stolen.
- May 7: John Burns Park, Massapequa; $4,000 stolen from center console.
- May 8: Fairlawn Avenue, West Hempstead; handbag, cash, car key stolen.
- May 9: The Gold Standard of Bethpage; NYS license plates stolen.
- May 10: Waldbaums, Baldwin; four hubcaps stolen.
- May 10: Pathmark, Massapequa; iPad mini stolen.
- May 10: Hilda Street, East Meadow; wallet and contents stolen.
- May 10: Kroll Road, East Meadow; laptop stolen from Nassau County vehicle.
- May 10: Linden Boulevard, Hicksville; pocketbook, wallet, and contents stolen.
- May 10: Church Street, Inwood; wallet, contents stolen from glove box.
- May 10: QZar, Carle Place; right front passenger window broken, laptop, handbag, wallet stolen.
- May 10: Searingtown Road, Searingtown; front passenger window broken, assorted items stolen.
- May 10: Dover Street, Westbury; vehicle rummaged through but nothing stolen.
- May 11: CVS, Westbury; work bag stolen.
- May 11: Extreme Gym, Merrick; side window shattered, pocketbook stolen.
- May 11: Peters Avenue, East Meadow; assorted cash stolen.
- May 11: Fayette Street, Uniondale; Michael Kors makeup bag and child’s booster seat stolen.
- May 11: UPS Store, Plainview; key fob, cash, jacket, keys stolen.
- May 12: Sunset Road, Massapequa; Pandora necklace, two Pandora rings stolen.
- May 12: Carnation Road, Levittown; earrings stolen.
- May 13: Brightwater Place, Massapequa; EZ Pass, cash, pocket knife stolen.
