Port Washington Lacrosse No. 8 in Nassau

Latest NYSSWA boys lacrosse rankings has Vikings No. 8 in Nassau, 18th in state.

The Port Washington boys lacrosse team faces a familiar test Wednesday with the Nassau Class A playoffs right around the corner. 

The Vikings face host Massapequa at Burns Park. It's a showdown for playoff seeding and momentum. That's because Port Washington is 18th in latest New York State Sportswriters Association Class A rankings.
 
Ward Melville and Chaminade are still one-two in the NYSSWA boys lacrosse Class A rankings while Garden City and Comsewogue are 4-5 in the Class B rankings.

St. Anthony’s girls lacrosse hosts Garden City at 4:30 p.m. in a non-league game heavy with state and national significance. The Friars (10-1) are the No. 1 team in the latest New York State Sportswriters Association Class A rankings. Garden City (11-0) is No. 1 in the state Class B rankings. 

The NYSSWA also released the latest Long Island boys lacrosse rankings, compiled by Farmingdale Coach Bob Hartranft. Here is the Nassau County Top 10
