Port Washington Was One Of Rainiest Nassau Co. Towns From Henri

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Tropical Storm Henri drenched Nassau County this weekend, dumping inches of rain in a matter of hours. But few places saw more rainfall than Port Washington, according to the National Weather Service.

Unofficial rainfall totals from the agency ranged 2.69 and 7.25 inches in Nassau County. Port Washington ranked fifth with 5.75 inches.
