SANDS POINT, NY — The Sands Point home of famous American composer John Philip Sousa is off the market: 12 Hicks Lane was most recently listed for sale for $7.5 million.
The Douglas Elliman listing now shows the National Historic Landmark property as having a a signed contract.
The waterfront home, dubbed Wildbank, was built in 1907, and was Sousa's home until his death. The composer is known for "The Stars and Stripes Forever," the official march of the United States and "Semper Fidelis."
