$100K Income Needed For 'Affordable' Prospect Lefferts Apartments
The "affordably" priced studio apartment on Linden Boulevard costs $1,800 a month.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — All it takes to snag an affordable apartment in Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a $100,000 annual income, city records show.
A handful of affordable apartments at 212 Linden Boulevard are up for grabs on the NYC Housing Connect website Tuesday, but it’s going to take a minimum income of $90,000 (and up to $130,000) to apply for half of them.
There are four two-bedroom apartments — two go for $2,600 a month and two go for $2,714 a month — that are available to applicants earning between $89,143 and $130,390 per year.

Two one-bedroom apartments cost $1,900 a month and are available to people earning between $65,143 and $108,550 a year.
And the single studio — which will cost you $1,800 a month — is available to people who earn between $61,715 and $95,030 a year.

The new building boasts a laundry room, rooftop rec space, and central heating and air conditioning, city records show. It’s within walking distance of the Church Avenue 2 and 5 trains station and the Parkside Avenue Q train station.
