26-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Crown Heights Identified: Cops

A 26-year-old was found Monday in Brooklyn with two gunshot wounds.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in Crown Heights Monday, and police still had no arrests on Wednesday.

Dion Reid, 26, was shot once in the torso and once in the ankle near Sterling Place and Buffalo Ave at about 1:10 p.m. Monday, according to the NYPD.

Reid was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Police continued to investigate Wednesday and no arrests had been made, according to the department.
