5 (Free) Things: Flower Planting on Washington and Tango Workshop

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need to help brighten up Washington Avenue. Help . Meet at noon at the corner of Park, Grand & Washington. We're telling you now so you can gear up.  

2. You need to (finally) learn tango. The monthly  is tomorrow. Again, we're letting you know today so you can get the coffee brewing early. , 10 Grand Army Plaza, 10 a.m. Free.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to the  for Preschool Storytime for kids 3-5 from 10:45-11:30 a.m. or Arts and Crafts for older kids from 4-5. , 25 4th Ave. at Pacific St. Free. See our  for more options. 

4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is! There are no planned service changes affecting Prospect Heights stations, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do; the next alternate side suspension won't be until Wednesday, July 4, according to the NYCDOT. (And the next alternate side suspension that actually helps people in Prospect Heights won't be until Monday, August 20 for Idul-Fitr.)
