5 Things: Storytelling, Big Band and More

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event highlights you won't want to miss.

2. You need big band music. Head to  for . 837 Union St. at Seventh Avenue, 9 p.m. No cover.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to  for  for ages 2-5. 755 Dean St. at Underhill. 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. $10/child ($5/additional sibling). See our  for more options.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is! There are no planned service changes affecting Prospect Heights stations today, however you should note that between midnight and 5 a.m. all week, there will be no 4 trains south of Brooklyn Bridge. However 3 train service will be extended  to New Lots Avenue, according to the MTA

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Thursday, May 17 for Solemnity of the Ascension, according to the NYCDOT.
