5 Things: NPR Live Taping, Preschool Crafts and More

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event highlights you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need do something different. Head to  for the , 683 Washington Ave., 7 p.m. No cover.

2. You need to have fun. Head to  for a live taping of " which includes an hour of puzzles, games and trivia. Taping will begin at 7:30 p.m., but make sure that you are in your seat no later than 7 p.m. (doors open at 6). , 149 Seventh Street between Second and Third Avenues. No cover.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to Preschool Story & Craft  for ages 3-6. , Youth Wing, 4-5 p.m., Free. See our  for more options.  

4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is! There are no planned service changes affecting Prospect Heights stations today, however you should note that between midnight and 5 a.m. all week, there will be no 4 trains south of Brooklyn Bridge. However 3 train service will be extended  to New Lots Avenue, according to the MTA

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Thursday, May 17 for Solemnity of the Ascension, according to the NYCDOT.
