'Affordable' PLG Apartments Come With $146K Income Requirement

A new batch of affordable apartments in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens demand six-figure incomes to apply, city records show.

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN -- It will cost $1,999-a-month to rent an "affordable" studio apartment in a new Rutland Road development, city records show.

Four apartments at 346 Rutland Road hit the housing market Monday and all of them include six-figure income requirements, according to the NYC Housing Connect website.

Two two-bedroom apartments cost $2,475-a-month and are only available to households with an annual income between $84,858 and $146,510, records show.

The single one-bedroom goes for $2,099-a-month and is only available to those with an income between $71,966 and $122,070.

And that $1,999 studio comes with an income requirement between $68,538 and $108,550.

Building amenities include a gym, game room, lounge, card-based laundry room, records show.

Those who meet the city's income requirements have until April 1 to apply.
