BROOKLYN, NY — A popular annual fashion show on its way back to Brooklyn's Central Library for the first time since the coronavirus crisis will transform the outdoor plaza into a catwalk this Friday.

The BKLYN Fashion Academy show — which was held virtually in 2021 — will debut the collections of the program's latest slate of designers, who have spent 12 weeks working with industry experts.

Typically held inside the library, the show will this year be held on the plaza outside the Central Library's front steps. The outdoor version will likely mean even more Brooklynites can take in the designs given that in the past so many people have shown up for the fashion academy show that the library had to close the doors when it reached capacity.
