Crown Heights Building Collapses, Hurts Construction Workers: FDNY
A heavy police and fire presence rushed to the accident on Park Place.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A collapse at a Crown Heights construction site left six workers hurt, four seriously, the FDNY said. The accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday on Park Place between Troy and Schenectady avenues.
A brownstone under construction there collapsed from the top floor through the basement, according to the FDNY.
The hurt construction workers were taken to Kings County Hospital.
