Crown Heights Garage to Be Converted Into Synagogue-Apartment Complex

An application has been submitted to turn a garage on President Street into a six-story apartment building with a synagogue down below.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — An application has been submitted to the NYC Department of Buildings to turn a garage located at 1201 President St., near Nostrand Avenue, into a stack of apartments with a synagogue down below.

The application also calls for construction of a sub-cellar and a cellar — which together will be converted into a 9,600-square-foot synagogue, according to YIMBY.

The six-story building above will contain 16 apartment units.

The property is owned by a man named Salomon Ezagui, described in city documents as the president of a company named TSNA Corp.
