Elderly Man Seriously Hurt In Crown Heights Hit-And-Run, Cops Say

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — An elderly man was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run in Crown Heights last week, according to police.

The 70-year-old man was crossing the street at Ralph Avenue and Dean Street around 8:30 p.m. last Wednesday when he was hit by a dark-colored BMW sedan, police said. The driver fled the intersection after the crash, police said.

The man was rushed to Kings County Hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
