CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A 100-room, five-story hotel and retail development is coming to a vacant lot on Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights, according to city filings and reports.

The building permit for the structure, to be constructed at 1548 Bedford Ave. — just blocks from the Brooklyn Museum and adjacent to Eastern Parkway — was filed on July 1 by ODA-Architecture, known for a variety of modern designs around the city, including a planned series of blocky towers coming to South Williamsburg.

The Bedford site formerly hosted a gas station and a Dunkin' Donuts, but is currently unused, according to The Real Deal. The site also reported that the project is the work of developer Yuri Goldman, who purchased the property for $7.2 million.

ODA couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Wednesday, but according to The Real Deal, the building's design includes a banquet hall, a bar on the top floor and a public terrace.
