Innocent Bus Rider Shot On B44 Bus In Crown Heights, Police Say

A man was sent to the hospital after a bus shooting in Crown Heights, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — An innocent bus rider was shot in the backside when a fight broke out on a Crown Heights bus Tuesday night, according to police and reports.

The man, 25, was shot on a northbound B44 bus near Empire Boulevard and Rogers Avenue about 10:20 p.m., police said.

Sources told the New York Post the shooting occurred after two other riders started to argue and one of them pulled out a gun, shot, and missed his aim.

Medics rushed the man to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.

There were no arrests Wednesday morning and police continued to investigate, according to the department.
