Long Island Man Arrested for Stabbing and Killing Brooklyn 21-Year-Old: NYPD
Jaiquan Thorne, 21, of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, was found stabbed to death in front of his home on Fenimore near Bedford, police say.

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Long Island man Kevin Hall, 22, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing Lefferts Gardens resident Jaiquan Thorne, 21, over the weekend, according to the NYPD.
Following a 911 call, Thorne was found unconscious by first responders at about 6 a.m. in front of 122 Fenimore Street, police said — right across the street from his own home at 127 Fenimore St.
Thorne had been stabbed in the chest, police said. He was rushed to nearby Kings County Hospital, where he was declared dead soon after.
Friends and family mourned Thorne's early death on their social-media pages Sunday.

By Monday morning, the NYPD announced that Hall, a resident of the Long Island community of Patchogue, had been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Hall was arrested Sunday by detectives with the 71st Precinct, police said. Information was not immediately available concerning his upcoming appearance in court.
Through March 20, no reported homicides had taken place in the 71st Precinct. according to police statistics.
